If you have a child who will be five on or before September 30, 2010 and will be attending Willoughby-Eastlake kindergarten, please call your neighborhood school for an appointment and a registration packet. If you do not know your home school or you need additional information, please call 975-3784.

Registration will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m at the home school.. The school office will make appointments with each parent according to the following schedule:

On registration day, parents/guardians will have the opportunity to meet and discuss issues with the principal, nurse, speech pathologist and audiologist. Each child will be involved in interviews with school staff that are designed to be enjoyable and informative. Parents can expect the entire registration process to last about 30-40 minutes.

All Day Everyday Kindergarten will be offered tuition-free at all seven Willoughby-Eastlake Elementary Schools for 2010-2011. As an option, new state legislation requires districts to accommodate kindergarteners whose parents elect to enroll them for only half day kindergarten. However, half-day kindergarten will only be provided in the AM and bus transportation will not be provided at the mid-day dismissal.
